Description:
With its theatrical warehouse-tropical decor, this upscale restaurant a few blocks from the plaza seems decidedly out of place in the southern Oregon hills, but good food is good food no matter where it's served. And the cuisine served here is some of the best in Oregon. Flavor combinations are often complex and can seem at first to be a bit contrived (duck confit and corn crepes), but one bite will convince you that this is great food. Because The Peerless is out of Ashland's restaurant mainstream, it tends to work just a little bit harder to satisfy its customers, so although prices are high, dinners here are the best in town. In summer, there's a garden patio for summertime alfresco dining.

We love eating outside at Peerless. The garden is lovely. The food is excellent and so is the wait staff.
