Located about 30 miles south of Glenwood Springs in the picturesque community of Redstone, this delightful B&B is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a base for exploring the mountains and streams in the surrounding White River National Forest -- there's even fly-fishing right out the back door. The handsome house, built in country Victorian style in 1994, sits along the banks of the Crystal River, with splendid views of nearby red-rock cliffs and Elk Mountain. The three guest rooms are decorated in Victorian style, with Western touches such as the "twig" bed -- the headboard and footboard are made of tree branches. I like the Mount Casa Room, named for its fine mountain view, with a queen bed, a separate twin bed, and a bathroom with a large shower.
