Aspen/Snowmass Nordic Trail System

Description:

• A network of groomed trails and a nordic center are located on two golf courses at both ends of the system. The Owl Creek trail connects the two centers. In Aspen, additional trails are located near the Aspen High School, on the Marolt and Moore Open Spaces, on the Rio Grand Trail and on the Northstar Nature Preserve. In Snowmass, Terminator and Village Run provide tracks for the more advanced skier. Cross-country skiing is the only activity allowed within the groomed tracks. The groomed area next to the tracks can be used for snowshoeing and skate skiing. Dogs are not allowed except on designated trails.

  The Aspen/Snowmass Nordic Trail System is located in and between the towns of Aspen and Snowmass Village in northwestern Colorado.
