Day 1 - Aspen

It;s winter. You're Aspen. You should probably hit the slopes. Skiing, snowboarding or tubing, Snowmass Mountain is the whole package: mountain, lodge and resort.
After a day on the slopes, there is not better place to refuel than at the Pine Creek Cookhouse. Reserve a sleigh ahead of time (or, if you're ambitious AND athletic, cross country ski yourself there). It's exterior is decidedly rustic, but that's part of the charm. Prepare yourself for some truly gourmet food - it's worth the trip.
Bed down at the Little Nell, hands-down the most luxurious lodging option in Aspen. The accomodation, the service and the amenities are all in line with a first class resort.

Day 2 - Aspen

Hit up Gordon's for some absolutely fantastic breakfast (my suggestion? Beligian waffles.) Next, you've got options. Head to Snowmass Mountain again for another day of skiing or snowboarding. Or, just spend a half day on the slopes, then take the afternoon off to wander downtown Aspen. Peek into Pismo Fine Art & Glass for some gorgeous examples of stained glass and glassware. You'll also be treated to technical explanations of the creation process and a little bit of history.
Your evening at The Crystal Palace comes with dinner and a show. Enjoy fine cuisine while you watch the political commentary and satire. Tip well - your waitstaff are the performers as well!

Day 3 - Aspen

It's the last day of your long weekend in Aspen, and therefore it's time to pamper yourself. Start the day out right at Sage Bistro for some of the best breakfast Aspen has to offer. The views and the presentation of the food are equally beautiful.
Next, it's off to the Aspen club & Spa for a massage and, if you're into that sort of thing, a facial. Yes, you could take an exercise class here too, but you just spent the last two days doing some world-class skiing. Take a load off.
Ending the vacation on a high note is important, so take yourself to the Hickroy House for award-winning barbecue and then the Cigar Bar. With an excellent cigar and drink selection, anyone who enjoys fine tobacco (and maybe even if you aren't a cigar fan) will enjoy their time in this elegant, relaxed and cozy establishment.
