• When the Olympic hype fizzled down post 2004, Athens had several large stadiums to figure out creative use for. Something like sixty percent of them aren't used, but the Badminton stadium has become home to ADaM (Art, Dance, Music) Productions, a company based in New York and creating opportunities for Greek talent in the United States. The modern stage is equpped hi-tech acoustics and lighting that meet the needs of large productions and headlining tours. 2,000 seats have full view on the stage without obstruction. The inauguration was in 2007; since then it has hosted huge musicals like CATS, Mama Mia! and Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Big musical acts like David Byrne, Patricia Kaas, and the Tiger Lily Freak show have also played.
