• Just when you thought all hope was lost for the vegans and crunchy granola heads in Athens, there is Bliss. It's the haven for the fair trade, self service, (and unfortunately, well paid) progressives around Athens, but given that the prices in central Athens are all relatively high, the least they can do is offer an alternative to the Frappe, espresso circuit. Here you can get blossom teas with names like "Jasmine Princess" and "blue fairy." They make an excellent array of fresh smoothies and juices, herbalicious cocktails and exotic hot chocolate. The food is tasty as well, and is one of the best options for vegans or heath fanatics that have been missing their spirulina, goji berry stuff. Decor is quirky and soothing to the eye.
  
  The music is an eclectic variety of world beats and soothing jazz. The interior is non smoking, and there IS free wi fi. Yoga, alternative therapy, used books and occasional sales occur on the three levels above the dining area. All in all, a most humane refuge for free thinkers.
