No need to go out of the city if you want to get your heart rate up: walking upward through the neighborhood of Kolonaki all the way to the church of St. George on top of Lykavittos Hill, or a trek up Benaki Street toward Strefi Hill in Exarcheia are both urban hikes worth venturing on.
