- Located in the district of Ano Liossia, 13 kilometers from Athens, The Ano Liossia Olympic Hall is a judo and wrestling venue. Wrestling is a very popular sport in Greece and was first recognized by the ancient Greeks, who would wrestle in the nude. The hall was designed by architects, Molfesis and Genias, and has a capacity to hold up to 9,000 fans. The Olympic hall also has a warm-up area, rest rooms, training areas, changing rooms, a press room and other recreation areas.
