• This 20 meter stretch of coast is a good compromise between tame and wild when it comes to the variety of beaches in Attica. Straw beach umbrellas are free to use and perfect for protection from the extreme midday sun without the hassle of carrying your own equipment. The far end is shallow and rocky while the other end is quite deep, making it popular for a variety of water sports from snorkeling to wind surfing. There are two bars and a fish taverna for when you get hungry.
  
  The beach can get jammed on the weekends but is quite calm during the week. Take the E22 bus down the coast. Nine stops after Varkiza, get off at Galazia Akti.
