  • From well known names to smaller one-of-a-kind properties, Atlanta's boutique hotel options are sprinkled throughout the city in areas like Midtown, Downtown, and Buckhead. These hotels mix unique decor and upscale service to create an experience that will not easily be forgotten. What's more, a lot of these boutique hotels also house some of the most popular bars and lounges in Atlanta.

The Palomar Hotel, our top pick, is one of the newest boutique hotels to open. This Kimpton property offers accommodations for furry friends and boasts great options for eating. Stay on site in the evening and enjoy dinner at Pacci before heading up to AltoRex, the hotel's outdoor bar and lounge offering creative cocktails and fire pits during winter. If you are the type that enjoys a good view, the number-three pick, the Glenn Hotel, boasts an award winning rooftop bar overlooking downtown. This trendy spot is also in a great location in walking distance of attractions like the Georgia Aquarium and CNN.

Other good boutique hotel options include one of the three W Hotel properties, although downtown's is the newest and most upscale, and Hotel Indigo situated in a prime location across from The Fox Theatre and near eating and nightlife.

So, if you are tired of drab carpeting and standard hotel amenities, try laying your head down at one of these properties. Just make sure you look as good as your room.
