Description:
- Come explore the backwoods of Georgia from the water with the expert guides at Appalachian Outfitters. Located north of Atlanta in rural Dahlonega, this adventurous group offers canoeing and kayaking outings through pristine country along the Chestatee and Etowah Rivers. For those in search of a more reflective, less strenuous adventure, casual tubing journeys are also an option. All necessary equipment, as well as instruction and refreshments, are available on site. Half-day river treks are also available. The outfit operates seasonally, April through September.
