Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater

Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater - Atlanta

  • Description:

    • This 1600-strong open arena was built to be the base for the famous drama "The McIntosh Trail." Its early years began as a community project; in the late 1980s, with the help of the City's Recreation Department, it shifted gears to hold concerts for senior citizens. There were regular local theater productions and performances by the Atlanta Pops Orchestra. At present, the summer concerts are held in full swing; stars, such as Debbie Reynolds and the Charlie Daniels Band are scheduled to perform.
