Georgia Council on International Visitors

Description:

  • This non-profit organization brings world leaders to Georgia each year in order to promote positive awareness of Atlanta and the state to the rest of the world. Since its inception in 1962, the GVIC has brought more than 17,000 future and current world leaders to Georgia. The organization also hosts eight-week seminars on foreign policy and provides speakers on this topic around the metro area. Membership helps foster the mission of GVIC and enables its members to familiarize themselves with a global community by attending functions with foreign dignitaries.
