Description:

  • Inman Park was the first planned neighborhood south of the Mason-Dixon Line, established in 1887 and fully built by the early 1900s. It experienced a long period of decline starting around 1910 and continuing until restoration began in the 1970s. The neighborhood is characterized by Queen Anne architecture and large trees and is now one of the most pleasant in Atlanta. The yearly Inman Park Spring Festival, taking place during the last weekend of April, is a great time to see it.
