• Located south of downtown, Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood is formerly known as the Coca-Cola Lakewood Amphitheater and HiFi Buys Amphitheater. A spot for large music festivals and concerts, the half-lawn, half-covered seats venue has hosted names like Elton John, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Dave Matthews Band along with other contemporary and classical artists. The lawn seats approximately 12,000 and there are about 5,000 roofed seats and 2,000 without cover--events are rain or shine. Although a drive from the city, the amphitheatre can also be reached via MARTA.
