Description:

  • This triangular strip of land is named for World War I hero General John Pershing, and forms the junction of two of Atlanta's most traveled downtown business routes. Dedicated to the residents of Fulton County who died during World War I, the park features well-groomed flower beds, a nice collection of trees and shrubs, and a small arrangement of circular, red brick walkways. The war monument stands proud at the center of the green, and offers a nice place for a peaceful, if not altogether quiet, lunch.
