  • Located in the open, industrial setting of a former factory, Whipstitch Fabrics is a boutique fabric shop. Cotton fabrics feature patterns that aren't typically found in mainstream fabric stores. In addition, a variety of handmade shirts and aprons are up for sale, along with sewing notions, crafting books and garments for craft projects. A wide variety of vintage sewing patterns range from 1950s day dresses to 80s power suits with giant shoulder pads. A spacious area is home to sewing classes and social gatherings, and features a full kitchen. Whipstitch Fabrics offers classes each month for all sewing and crafting levels. -Beth Dolgner
