Top 10:

Atlantic City Romantic Restaurants

  • The Best of NileGuide
  • Fine wine, excellent food, intimate atmosphere -- the cozy restaurants of Atlantic City are perfect for that romantic meal you've been dreaming of. And, since you're in one of the gambling capitals of the world, you might just get lucky. Romantic restaurants aren't hard to find in this town. Diners at the red roof-topped Knife & Fork agree that eating here is a treat, even more so than at many romantic restaurants in Atlantic City. The elegant decor, the excellent food, the friendly, efficient service, the romantic atmosphere, and the 10,000-bottle wine cellar indicate that a pleasurable experience is in store for you here.

For traditional American specialties, visit the Ram's Head Inn. Voted the "Most Romantic Restaurant" and "Best Fine Dining Restaurant" by the Atlantic City press, the Ram's Head Inn, just 8 miles outside of Atlantic City, is worth the trip. Guests can begin their evening with cocktails in the Gallery or relax by the fireplace in the Tavern. American and Continental specialties, such as Classic Beef Wellington and Leek-Wrapped Crab Cakes, are served all year in beautifully decorated dining rooms that are enhanced by wood-burning fireplaces and soft candlelight.

Another must-visit is the Serenade Restaurant. Serenade Restaurant was opened by owners James and Nancy Sheridan Laird in 1996. This couple's love story began in Ryland Inn's kitchen, where they both worked. James' claim to fame is that he was the first chef from New Jersey to win the coveted Robert Mondavi Culinary Award of Excellence. At Serenade, the cuisine is American but with a French twist -- scallops, halibut, calf's liver and the like are all offered. Let these Atlantic City restaurants provide you with a night of romance and a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
