Romantic Things To Do in Atlantic City

Taking a walk together on the beach at dawn, seeing the sights, having a spa treatment, and ending the day by gazing out at the moon and the stars from the deck of a romantic restaurant -- sounds like a perfect romantic vacation. But, wait, Atlantic City has a lot more romantic things for you and your loved one to do. Venture out to sea with the capable seafarers at Atlantic City Cruises, where fun is just the beginning. Atlantic City Cruises has a variety of offerings to choose from, including the Morning Skyline cruise, the Dolphin Watching cruise, the Happy Hour cruise, the Sightseeing cruise, as well as a smorgasbord of special occasion cruises.

Enjoy a day out away from the city, head to Bass River State Forest. Summer brings lots of folks to this popular state forest with a large campground and swimming lake. Lake Absegami, created in the 1930s, provides swimming, boating and canoeing. There's also a trail which winds through the Absegami Natural Area through a forest of pine and oak woods and Atlantic white cedar bog, also containing red maples and magnolias.

Or check out the Paper Mill Playhouse. This theater first took refuge in the ruins of a paper mill in 1934. Its founders staged the first production -- The Kingdom of God -- in 1938. Over the years a lot of classics, modern plays and operettas have been experimented with at this playhouse. It is visited by more than 425,000 people a year. Anne Hathaway (a conservatory alumna) and other well-known talents -- Liza Minelli and Patrick Swayze -- have strutted their stuff at the Paper Mill. You certainly won't have any trouble filling the days of your romantic vacation in Atlantic City.
