The Boardwalk

The Atlantic City Historical Museum is the perfect spot to learn all about the rich history of this one-of-a-kind seaside resort. For more up-to-date information on the city's accommodations, shopping, restaurants, events and entertainment, stop at the tourist information center at Boardwalk Hall, a National Historic Landmark where the Miss America Pageant took place until it left for Las Vegas in 2006.

Next to the Historical Museum on Garden Pier you'll find the Atlantic City Art Center, which houses three galleries of rotating art exhibits. Or, if you've had enough history and local culture, head over to the Trump Taj Mahal for non-stop action in the casino, tempting five-star quality cuisine, or a relaxing interlude at the pool or spa. © NileGuide
