Your First Time in Atlantic City

Your First Time in Atlantic City

Description:

Outside of Las Vegas, Atlantic City is America's most famous casino gambling destination. With its beachfront location on the highly populated East Coast, its streets known from Parker Brothers' Monopoly game and its world-famous Boardwalk, Atlantic City makes an excellent vacation choice.

Located on Absecon Island, a ten-mile long strip of land separated from the mainland by an uninhabited swamp, Atlantic City has been a favorite tourist spot for years.

If you want to enjoy the beach, summer is the ideal time to come, but Atlantic City is a year-round destination. With exciting casinos, high class entertainment, educational museums, and surrounding natural beauty, Atlantic City has plenty to offer visitors of all ages -- both indoors and out.

Day Note:

THINGS TO DO
If you've never been to Atlantic City, the first thing you should do is take a stroll on the world-famous Boardwalk -- the best way to enjoy the city's beachside location. You'll also want to visit the resort's massive casino hotels. Don't worry, you won't need a car here, unless you plan to head out of town. Much of the city can be explored on foot, and plenty of Jitneys (small buses) await to take you where you want to go.read more
