Base Auckland Backpackers (also known as Auckland Central Backpackers/ ACB)

Base Auckland Backpackers (also known as Auckland Central Backpackers/ ACB) - Auckland

  • Description:

    • This place is massive! If you are looking for a budget hostel to connect with other backpackers this is the place to do it. It's well known as a place to party rather than chill out, but great for those just looking for a good time in Auckland with other backpackers. They have all the regular facilities you'd expect from a backpackers in New Zealand plus a few other things such as a bar and a girls' only area that includes posher rooms and small luxury items. It's centrally located so you can just drop downstairs for all the city has to offer. Be aware that not all rooms have windows so if you were planning on having a view, ask first.

Base is a chain that also has backpackers hostels in other parts of New Zealand and Australia. Bookings can be made online or if you are within New Zealand, you can use the toll free number 0800-22-73-69/ 0800 BASE NZ.
