Description:
- First opened in 1890, the Queen's Head Tavern, in its grand colonial premises is one of the oldest pubs in Auckland. Today it comprises a large bar, café, brasserie and pub. The Queen's Head draws a good crowd for both lunch and dinner, serving food from snacks to hearty meals such as rump steak with fries. Of course it also does a fine trade serving locals their pint of beer--11 beers on tap and 22 wines served by the glass.
