- One of the longest-running, family-owned restaurants in central Auckland, Sri Pinang serves up marvellous Malaysian dishes at more than affordable prices. The tables are always clean and adorned with small vases of flowers, and the lights are always bright and cheerful. Regulars return again and again for the friendly service and the delightful atmosphere created by the owners. Malaysian, Indonesian and Singaporean dishes are all cooked authentically to suit all palates. The highly recommended Rendang Curry (chicken or beef) is hot and dry. Desserts are also served and will often be specially created for children.

I love this place for lunch or dinner. Lunch is usually a take away and not shared and for dinner a sit down shared diinner. The Laska is awesome and I love the Nasi or Bami Goreng

Sri Pinang is definitely high in my list of fabulous food, excellent service - BYO, and oh yeah - extremely well priced. Highly recommend to anyone who likes a nice range of Asian food.
