- Snow Centre is located in Newmarket and really easy to find. If you are planning on driving down for some skiing but want to get your gear organised before you go, this is a good place to start. they have not only skis, but also boots, helmets, goggles, kidswear, clothing and just about anything else you might need to see you on the white stuff as soon as possible. They also have a workshop, so if you've brought your own gear (man, you must be serious!) you can get things tidied up if needs be. Alternatively, they have another location in Ohakune, south of the volcanoes.
