The Muriwai Golf Club sits just on the boarder of Muriwai Beach with fantastic views of the Tasman Sea. It's an 18 hole, Links style course that sits just 45 minutes from the Auckland CBD. It is a reasonably priced venue featuring some of the most spectacular scenery you will see on a golf course. It's recent remodeling has smoothed over some of the rough edges (nature was never very cooperative) and provides a great test of golf wrapped around a beautiful beach experience. When you finish your round (or finish checking out the course), be sure to check out the clubhouse for a pint and a further appreciation of the seaside views.
