• Serving as a rare hipster oasis in an area that's otherwise uniformly rustic (a restaurant specializing in chicken giblets sits nearby), Barfly's brings in the scenesters by way of youthful camaraderie, a revered, genre-bending jukebox, and some of the most genial bartenders for miles around. Inside, the bar is dark, dank, and loud, but all in a good way, whereas the lower backyard area - accessible by staircase and dotted with picnic tables - is better equipped for mingling among strangers. And though the available beer selection does cover all the bases, this is by and large a liquor bar.
