- Bates Recital Hall known mainly as the 700 seat hall which hosts almost all types of symphony orchestra, solo performances, bands and so much more. It's one of the most spacious halls in Texas. The seating is very comfortable and sometimes it does gets a little chilly in here. Few of the past events here were the Holiday Organ Concert, Miró Quartet and Mark O' Connor. Students into orchestral type of music get quite a number of opportunities to practice and perform out here, while visiting musicians is a usual aspect of this hall. If ever get a chance to witness a concert at the Bates Recital Hall, please don't waste it. A great experience guaranteed.
