Description:

  • Located just outside the city in the hill country, this restaurant offers customers great lakeside views while they have a few drinks and enjoy cuisine from the interior of Mexico. Dishes are moderately priced and the menu is weighted towards seafood. For instance, the ceviche al estilo yucateca is yellow tuna marinated in lime juice with pico de gallo, and the rainbow trout vera cruz consists of grilled trout topped with spicy tomatoes, olives, and onions. As an alternative, the carnitas a la parrilla is marinated and grilled beef steak or chicken tenderloins with a smoked chipotle sauce. Any attire from casual to dressy is fine, and a generally laid-back attitude prevails.

Been here before and the quality has degraded some.

  • Food didn't taste as fresh as I remember. My mojito tasted like watered down lemonade. Tables inside way too close together. We spent over 100 for four people.
