- With the bulk of Austin's Indian restaurants on the far north side of the city, India Kitchen's East Austin location is a welcome alternative to those who don't want to drive across town for an authentic Indian meal. The large menu offers lots of vegetarian dishes, along with chicken, lamb, goat and seafood dishes flavored with a number of spice blends and sauces, as well as the signature Hyderabad Biryani, a spiced rice dish with vegetables and meat.
