- Make no mistake, it's hard to impress a boss or a date by dining in a supermarket. But it's easy to forget that Mandola's is not just any market. The ambiance is sufficient to disguise the grocery shadow and the sit-down restaurant, with its fresh ravioli and pasta (del giorno) and an assortment of paninis takes most diners by surprise. The restaurant also has a gelato and coffee bar and a bakery with the most aromatic of breads and cakes. Owner and chef Damian Mandola exudes his passion about the open kitchen.
