• A cute little South Austin neighborhood bakery, Moonlight Bakery offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods, both sweet and savory. Several fresh breads like baguettes and focaccia are baked daily, along with daily special breads like Tuesday and Thursday's cinnamon raisin bread and Friday's challah. The sweets include cinnamon rolls, several types of cookies, Danish pastry, sweet croissants (chocolate and almond) and the baked apple fritter, a less oily version of the deep-fried classic. Kolaches, a Czech pastry made of a slightly sweet yeast dough that can be made sweet or savory, are available in fruit and sausage varieties.
