- From its little trailer in the Trailer Park & Eatery, Torchy's Tacos serves some of the most unique tacos in Austin. While not authentically Mexican, these tacos are most definitely Texan. The Fried Avocado combines a hefty slab of battered and fried avocado, beans, cheese, and pico de gallo, while the Trailer Park includes fried chicken and green chiles. Torchy's homemade queso is topped with queso fresco, mouth-stinging habanero sauce, and fresh avocado, and the guacamole is fresh. On cool days, the outdoor seating and bonfire make the Trailer Park & Eatery a relaxing place to soak up South Austin atmosphere. - Christine Whalen

A little on the pricey side, but their unique menu makes up for it. Fried Avocado & Baja Shrimp totally hit the spot. The MIgas are good to. I could get fat going here too often.

I love Torchy's and am glad that it is expanding. My favorites are the Green Chile Pork and Fried Avocado. Make sure to try the queso. I would like to see more locations.
