Description:
- In Texas, the best, most creative restaurants often meld Southwestern flavors with tried-and-true European dishes to conjure up a new cuisine entirely. So it is at this hotel restaurant, which consistently tops the list of Austin's best. Try the restaurant's specialty to see how traditional blends with Texas flavors: focaccia-crusted pork tenderloin served with Texas ruby red grapefruit and a citrus beurre blanc. But it is not just the centerpiece of a meal here that is outstanding. From the basket heaped with four types of bread and three flavors of butter to the sumptuous creme brulee, the food is consistently well-conceived and perfectly executed. The atmosphere is soothing and sophisticated, and the people watching is unparalleled. Everyone from visiting celebrities to politicians to high-tech execs dines here.

Message from Trio at the Four Seasons
Downtown Austin's neighborhood steakhouse, TRIO at Four Seasons offers a contemporary menu - centered around steak, seafood and carefully chosen wines - in a stylish setting that's both scenic and sophisticated. Sit down in our sleek dining room for a prime dry-aged steak dinner and one of 250 wines by the bottle, or relax and enjoy the view from our outdoor terrace overlooking the natural beauty of Austin's Lady Bird Lake. Monday through Saturday from 5 to 7 pm, pull up a chair at TRIO's wine bar for "Austin's Best Happy Hour" (according to both the Austin Chronicle and Austin Monthly), featuring 1/2-off appetizers and wines by the glass. TRIO's Sunday brunch is widely referred to as Austin's best and features an expansive buffet, including eggs Benedict; carving, griddle and omelet stations; fresh seafood and salads; traditional breakfast items and a decadent dessert bar.
