  • NileGuide Expert Says:

Margarita lovers, try one of Trudy's signature Mexican martinis, but beware. Because the shaker of the tangy concoction is so potent, the rule is no more than two per customer.

  • Description:

    • The original location of what is now an Austin staple has served award-winning spicy migas, salsa and margaritas since 1977. A large Tex-Mex and Southern menu satisfies veggie lovers and carnivores alike, including fresh spinach quesadillas and sizzling beef, chicken and portobello fajitas. Tables are packed under beamed ceilings to maximize the small space, so many get there early to save seats on the patio, where hip students and young professionals linger over appetizers and cocktails.
