- A trendy sushi and Japanese establishment has finally hit South Austin. Upon entering you will notice the modern earth tone décor and a full bar with over 20 beers on tap. The bar has several tables for dining and a smoking area, which is a rarity in Austin. Appetizers include shrimp tempura, edamame, gyoza and baked mussels. The sushi menu consists of regular favorites like unagi (fresh water eel), maguro (tuna), sake (salmon) and ebi (shrimp). It also features hamachi (yellow tail), suzuki (sea bass), ika (squid), tako (octopus) and several types of fish eggs wrapped in seaweed. Sushi boxes are available, as are a variety of special handrolls.
