  • The Buckinghamshire Railway Centre is a steam museum and gallery located in Quainton near Aleysbury. Operated by the London Railway Preservation Society, the center aims at preserving and cherishing the history of steam locomotives. Spread over 25 acres, the center houses a railway museum, a functioning miniature railway, shopping gallery for locomotives and models, and an event space. The museum displays a wide collection of steam and diesel locomotives, including the precious 1901 Coach and 1943 Royal Train. The center constantly hosts attractive events related to railways and their functioning. A popular tourist attraction and a favorite destination for school excursions, the center also offers space on hire for gatherings and functions.
