Description:
The NaGeira House is named after an Irish princess who was kidnapped in the 17th century and spirited away to Carbonear, where she lived out her life. The inn opened in 1999 in a wonderful old gabled home (registered as a historic property), and the innkeepers have a good eye for detail, from down duvets and quality linens to delicious breakfasts. The rooms vary widely as to size, from the very small (and least expensive) to a luxurious and spacious master suite with an in-room Jacuzzi and fireplace. Even if you opt for the smallest room, you'll still have access to a cozy library, living room, and bar -- as well as a pub and gardens.
