Legian Café

• A new addition to Kuta's live music scene, Legian Café has quickly made its mark, evident by the fact that the venue generally only has standing room. Twinkling fairy lights illuminate the simple wooden decor, and the club has an incredibly lively, often raucous atmosphere. There is a tourist-friendly menu, however dining is not particularly rewarding after around 9p due to the rather rowdy ambience. There is a roster of live bands playing rock covers, jazz funk and Latin music along with a resident DJ most nights. The Legian Café is open officially until 2a each night but often remains lively well beyond this time. -Raymond Montgomery
