  • Kuta has the largest selection of nightclubs and bars in all of Bali. In fact, at times it may seem as though there is too much nightlife, as the city rarely sleeps. Until the wee hours of the morning, you can hear the disco beat pumping on the dance floors of these clubs, see locals watching movies in restaurants, and hear the sounds of bad karaoke in bars everywhere. The Hard Rock Bali is a great venue to see local Indonesian bands perform. Located on the corner across the beach in downtown Kuta, it's a busy place no matter when you visit. But it is an American franchise, so expect the same food and atmosphere as you'd find at any Hard Rock Cafe. Benny's has been a mainstay of the Legian bar scene for a generation or more and still is able to pull in the crowds nightly. Bali Rock sports a bright and colorful interior with a center stage, pool tables and small dance floor. The Octopus is a large restaurant and nightclub at the Bali Hilton in Nusa Dua that attracts a mix of young and old. Nights are warm in Bali and the nightlife is hot. Step out and enjoy it.
