Amankila is the most secluded of the three Aman resorts in Bali, located well away from mainstrem tourism in the island's beautiful eastern region of Karangasem. The name Amankila translates to "peaceful hill", and Amankila is exactly that. The resort comprises of a cluster of thatched pavilions and a spectacular three-tier swimming pool cascading towards the ocean. The views are spectacular. The interior evoke a beach house with a twist – arched doorways, hand-crafted teak panels, stone moldings, woven mats and glamorous soaking tubs. Desks and tabletops throughout are crafted from fragments of coconut shell. The resort's two restaurants serve all the guests' need. There is also a massage pavilion and a 41-meter lap pool. The resort boasts a private sandy beach and the Amankila's Beach Club, where uniformed beach boys will attend to your every needs.
