Description:
- Situated on a magnificent ravine, Hotel Tjampuhan watches over a holy river in the temperate highlands outside Ubud, Bali's cultural and artistic center. Tjampuhan was once an artists' colony headed by the famous German artist Walter Spies, whose house still forms part of the hotel. All 55 cottages feature a verandah or balcony that overlooks the river. The property stands only a short stroll from the Ubud Monkey Forest, museums, art galleries, the former King's palace and traditional markets.
