- Alcedo Restaurant at Gending Kedis is a great hideaway for a romantic rendezvous. The name is taken from the River Kingfisher, which can occassionaly be spotted from the restaurant deck, with its bright turquoise hues. Alcedo's menu consisted of international, Asian and hearty Indonesian and Balinese cuisine. Recommended dishes include the Beef Kalio – Indonesian style stewed beef in chilli coconut sauce, the Babi Kecap – braised pork loin in sweet soy sauce and the Ikan Bumbu Seribu – grilled Mahi-Mahi marinated with various tropical spices.
