• The Melasti enjoys a strategic spot along the busy main street in Kuta and is perpetually busy day and night. It gains a lot of passing trade in the evenings by virtue of its excellent resident house band who belts out rock covers, jazz and Indonesian pop songs each and every night. In fact, its rustic paneled walls are filled with rock and pop memorabilia featuring icons from the last 40 years. There is everyone from Buddy Holly to Kurt Cobain. The Menu at Melasti tries to cover all bases with burgers, ribs and pizza, grilled seafood and a sprinkling of Mexican and Thai. A large bar is well-stocked with imported beers and regularly features two-for-one promotions on select drinks.
