Kebun Raya Eka Karya (Bedugul Botanical Gardens)

• Extending over 120 hectares of land, the Botanical Gardens houses more than 650 species of trees and more than 500 types of orchids. Built over rolling hills, the garden makes a perfect spot for picnics. Select from a number of self-guided walks through the park--just pick up your brochures at the front gate. A few rangers speak some English. For a small donation, they will take you through the park. A traditional Balinese house compound at the top of the park accommodates 12 people, and you can rent this at very reasonable prices. For a thrill, stop by the Bali Treetop Adventure Park within the gardens for a ride through the canopy.
