Legian Beach

• Unlike its neighboring Kuta Beach, this Legian shoreline embraces many hotels, bungalows and cottages. Consequently, only a small part of it remains accessible to the public. Apart from swimming and frolicking under the sun, one can indulge in some good surfing. Be forewarned, though--the waves can get rather rough at times. Guests from the surrounding hotels usually while away their time here. From Jalan Legian, take a turn into Jalan Padma to get straight to the beach. Alternatively, walk along Jalan Pantai Kuta toward Legian all the way to the end.
