Description:
- This temple lies in Manukaya Village, Tampaksiring (Gianyar Regency). The words Tirta Empul means "the gathering of holy water". The temple was erected by King Jaya Singha Warmadewa of the Warmadewa dynasty who wrote the manuscript called Manukaya (dated A.D.962) which mentions the temple and the holy spring. The yearly ceremony at Tirta Empul Temple falls during the month of the fourth full moon according to the Balinese calendar (October). Admission: By donation.
