- Threads of Life gallery strifes to keep alive the endangered Indonesian tradition arts of hand-weaving and natural dyeing. Working directly with the weavers, the gallery stocks exquisite textile pieces that take years to make. Proceeds of the sale is used to support the cultural preservation work. The organization works with master weavers coming from islands of Bali, East Sumba, Flores, Lembata, Timor, and Sulawesi. A visit to the gallery will allow you to have a one-on-one interaction with these weavers.
