Public Question Asked by samroyal97 about Bali

Im going to Indoneisa, to be specific, Bali, Lombok, Jakarta. Can you help with travel plans?

I will go to Jakarta for three weeks. Hotels and flights are arranged but we do not have hotel yet for Lombok. My friend wants to go to bali from Jakarta by plane. And we take ferry from Bali to Lmobok. Are there cruise ships there? How long is the sea travel? Please give any suggestions about places and activities we can do.

The ferry trip is a long and not a very pleasant journey. You'd be better to fly (it's not very expensive), or, if you're heading to the Gilis, take a fast boat (about 1 hour).
Let me know where, how long and budget etc. you're after and I'll help you organise.
I have contacts in Jakarta and Lombok and I live in Bali, so just let me know how I can help! :)

It's wonderful choice to have holiday in Lombok & Bali.It will take long hours from Bali to Lombok by ferry,if I may suggest better you take plane or fast boat cos the price reachable. Don't forget to visit Gili island in Lombok for its beautiful underwater life and traditional village. pls contact me for further info @ budiasih_nice@yahoo.com

Why don't you try after Jakarta, go to Jogja by train (executive train 1st class) and then go to Bali fron Jogja. As you are already at Java, go to mid Java and give a visit at the palace, Prambanan and Borobudur can give a better insight of our past glory. Meanwhile a ferry to Lombok takes 5 hour, yet it is a good one. But you can also take the fast boat from Benoa. It takes about 3 hours, but you go straight to Senggigi. As with the ferry, you have to take an hour drive from Lembar harbour.
