Top 10:

Historical Things to Do in Baltimore

  • The Best of NileGuide
  • Baltimore is an East Coast city that strikes a nice balance for travelers when it comes to pace. It's not as fast as some of the cities you will find in the North and not as slow as cities in the South. The United States' 21st largest city, Baltimore's charm is enhanced by a growing and eclectic list of things to do in its' downtown area, ranging from shopping to dining to art and museums to performance houses to historical attractions. Traveling by foot will surely allow visitors to see most of Baltimore's key attractions as the majority of them are located within walking distance from the city's waterfront - the Inner Harbor, home to the National Aquarium, Maryland's most profitable tourist destination and a great starting point for the motivated explorer. Personal transportation does afford you the opportunity to see more of Baltimore's character, culture, and history as can be found in its Mount Vernon, Charles North, and Federal Hill neighborhoods, to say the least.
